Jimmy Fallon’s Final “Late Night” Hits Series High for Ratings

Showing just how much night owls will miss him, Jimmy Fallon’s last time hosting “Late Night” scored the highest ratings ever for the show.
According to Nielsen, the new host of “The Tonight Show” captured a 2.8/12 rating, the best since its debut on March 2, 2009.
Just the day before, the show hit a record of 4.6/15, thanks mostly to the lead in of Jay Leno’s final night.
Joining Jimmy for the send-off was Andy Samberg and the delightful Muppets. He takes over on “The Tonight Show” on February 24th.
