Kylie’s new single ‘very similar’ to Delta song

KYLIE Minogue’s much-hyped comeback single Into the Blue leaked this morning ahead of its January 28 release – but many fans are pointing out the song sounds rather similar to a recent single by fellow Australian pop princess, Delta Goodrem.

The single is the first taste of Minogue’s upcoming 12th studio album, her first since 2010s Aphrodite. While the uplifting dance track is sure to be a hit among Kylie’s loyal fanbase, there’s no denying the similarities to Delta Goodrem’s 2012 single Sitting on Top of the World The song’s post-chorus hooks he song’s post-chorus hooks – Kylie’s ‘Into the bluuuue’ and Delta’s ‘Now I’m with youuuu’ (first heard 53 seconds into her song) – sound very similar.

Delta’s single enjoyed huge success off the back of her judging role on the first season of The Voice in 2012 – a position Kylie has now taken over, with Delta moving to the children’s version of The Voice in 2014.
